This is not an entry-level sales gig. As a Commercial Insurance Agent at The Agent’s Office®, you are a B2B risk consultant. You will work directly with business owners—from contractors in Frisco to fleet operators across North Texas—to protect their livelihood.
You aren’t just selling “Commercial Auto.” You are a full-stack commercial resource (GL, Property, Workers Comp, Cyber). We provide the market access; you provide the expertise.
Your Mission
- The Hunter (Prospecting): Hunt for new business relationships with owners, CFOs, and operators. This is a “hunter” role requiring outbound discipline.
- The Consultant (Analysis): Review complex risk exposures (Fleet, Operations, Cyber) and design coverage gap analyses.
- The Architect (Design): Leverage our independent access to top-tier commercial carriers (Travelers, Liberty Mutual, Progressive Commercial, Chubb, etc.) to win on value.
- The Partner (Scale): Cross-sell personal lines and life insurance to business owners to deepen the relationship.
Who We’re Looking For
- Licensed Professional: Active Texas Property & Casualty License (Required).
- Experienced Pro: 2+ years of B2B sales or Commercial Insurance experience preferred.
- Technical Expert: You can explain “Claims-Made vs. Occurrence” without putting someone to sleep.
- Long-Game Mindset: You understand that Commercial Insurance is a relationship game with a massive payoff.
