The Agent’s Office®
Privacy Policy
We are an independent insurance agency, and safeguarding the information you entrust to us is inseparable from the work of protecting what you own. This notice explains, thoroughly and directly, what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you hold.
01Who We Are
The Agent’s Office® is the trade name of Azide Resources LLC (Texas License No. 3137979), an independent insurance agency founded in 2023 and headquartered at Frisco Station in Frisco, Texas. We are licensed in Texas, Arkansas, Florida, and Michigan and place personal, commercial, life, cyber, flood, and specialty coverage through a broad panel of admitted and surplus-lines carriers.
Throughout this policy, “we,” “us,” “our,” and “the agency” refer to The Agent’s Office® / Azide Resources LLC. “You” and “your” refer to any visitor, applicant, prospect, client, or claimant whose information we handle.
02The Framework This Policy Is Built On
As an insurance agency, we are a “financial institution” under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). Our privacy obligations are governed principally by GLBA and, in Texas, by Chapter 601 of the Texas Insurance Code and the Texas Department of Insurance rules adopted under it, which control how we treat nonpublic personal financial information. Health-related information you share for life and health coverage is separately protected under Chapter 602 and Chapter 28B of the Texas Insurance Code.
Because we are a financial institution regulated under GLBA, the agency is exempt at both the entity and data levels from the Texas Data Privacy & Security Act. Even so, we have chosen to voluntarily extend the core rights that Act provides — the ability to know what we hold, to correct it, to request deletion where appropriate, and to opt out of marketing — because we believe good stewardship of your information should not depend on which statute happens to apply. See Your Rights & Choices.

Information you choose to share through our forms, live chat, reviews, referrals, or other contact features is stored securely and used to respond to you and improve how we serve you.
d. Quote engines & coverage tools
When you use a quote engine, calculator, or coverage simulator on our site, we temporarily store the details you enter so we can return accurate, personalized options. That data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose and is handled under the same confidentiality standards as the rest of your information.
04Where We Obtain Your Information
We collect information directly from you, and we also receive it from sources that are standard to the insurance process, including:
- Insurance carriers, wholesalers, managing general agents, and program administrators to whom we submit your application
- Consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle records, loss-history databases (such as CLUE), and insurance-score providers
- Your other advisors or representatives when you ask them to work with us
- Publicly available records and lawful data providers used to verify the information you give us
05How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to serve you and to run the agency responsibly:
- Prepare accurate quotes and submit applications to carriers on your behalf
- Recommend coverage suited to your needs and place, service, and renew your policies
- Assist with billing, endorsements, claims, and account questions
- Communicate with you about your coverage, renewals, and relevant products or offers
- Verify identity, prevent fraud, and maintain the security of our systems
- Improve our website, tools, and client experience
- Meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations
07Health Information
When you apply for life, health, disability, or similar coverage, you may share medical or health-related information. We treat this information with heightened care under Chapters 602 and 28B of the Texas Insurance Code. We use it only to evaluate and place the coverage you request, disclose it only to the carriers and parties necessary to do so, and do not use it for marketing without your consent.
09Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages related to quotes, policy servicing, appointments, billing reminders, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel and HELP for assistance.
Your mobile opt-in is never shared or sold. No mobile information — and specifically no text-messaging opt-in data or consent — will be shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the service providers that help us deliver the messaging you requested. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10Data Security
Consistent with the GLBA Safeguards Rule, we maintain an information-security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. These include encryption in transit, secure server technologies, access controls that limit information to staff who need it, and ongoing monitoring. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we apply rigorous, current safeguards and review them as threats and technology evolve.
11Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to meet our legal, regulatory, tax, and recordkeeping obligations — including insurance recordkeeping requirements that may extend for several years after a policy ends. When information is no longer needed, we dispose of it securely.
12Your Rights & Choices
Although the agency is exempt from the TDPSA as a GLBA-regulated financial institution, we voluntarily honor the following choices. To exercise any of them, contact us using the details in Contact Us.
- Access & correction. Request a summary of the information we hold about you and ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep, subject to insurance and other legal recordkeeping requirements.
- Marketing opt-out. Ask us to stop sending marketing email or texts. Reply STOP to any text, or contact us directly.
- Cookie & advertising choices. Adjust your browser settings or use Global Privacy Control, which we honor (see Cookies & Tracking).
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these choices.
13Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are directed to adults and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Any handling of a known child’s information will follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
14Third-Party Websites
Our site may link to carrier portals, payment processors, or other external sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we do not operate. Please review their privacy policies before providing information.
15Breach Notification
In the event of a data security incident affecting your sensitive personal information, we will notify affected individuals and, where required, the appropriate authorities in accordance with the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act (Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 521) and applicable insurance data-security laws.
16Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of our website after an update signifies your acceptance of the revised policy.
