- ✓ Full practice protection with direct carrier access: medical malpractice, cyber & HIPAA, workers’ comp, EPLI, equipment breakdown & more.

*We review every client household at renewal and re-market when a premium rises materially — generally around 10% or more. When your rate holds steady, staying with your current carrier is often the better outcome for rate stability and claims history.
Your practice isn’t generic. Your coverage shouldn’t be either.
A standard policy treats a med spa, a surgery center, and a dental office as if they face the same risks — and yours doesn’t. From the treatments you perform to the equipment and income behind them, your protection is built around how your practice actually runs. One place for the whole picture — the practice, and the person behind it.
Med Spa & Aesthetic Practices
Injectables, lasers, IV therapy, and weight-loss programs carry liability and scope-of-practice exposures a standard policy misses. It’s the fastest-growing corner of medicine in Frisco — and the one we know best.

Straight answers from a 5.0-star independent Frisco agency — focused on medical-practice and healthcare coverage, and still here for your home, auto, and small business.
What is The Agent’s Office®?
The Agent’s Office® is an independent insurance agency in Frisco, Texas, built around a specialty in medical practices and the healthcare industry — med spas, dental and orthodontics, dermatology and plastic surgery, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging and radiology, OB-GYN and women’s health, and behavioral health. Because we’re independent, we compare 75+ top-rated carriers, show you exactly what each policy covers, and never charge an agency fee. We still protect North Texas families and small businesses across auto, home, life, and commercial lines — but our deepest expertise is the coverage physicians and practice owners actually need, from malpractice and E&S placements to HIPAA-driven cyber, workers’ comp, and business interruption.
What insurance does a medical or healthcare practice need?
Most Texas practices carry several coverages that work together: professional liability (medical malpractice), general liability and a business owner’s policy (BOP) for the space and equipment, cyber and HIPAA-breach coverage for patient data, workers’ compensation for staff, and often business interruption, management and employment-practices liability, and protection for high-value imaging or surgical equipment. The right mix depends on your specialty, procedures, and payroll — so we build the program around how your practice runs. Start with our medical practice insurance overview and the specialty pages linked from it.
Do you still handle personal and small business insurance, or only medical practices?
Both — our focus is medical and healthcare-practice insurance, but we actively write personal and small-business coverage too. Families come to us for auto, home, renters, life, and umbrella; owners come to us for commercial and specialty lines, from cyber to hard-to-place trades. If you’re a practice owner who also needs your home and cars covered, you can keep everything under one agency with one point of contact.
Why should I choose an independent agent over a captive or direct carrier?
A captive or direct company can only sell its own product, so if its rate or appetite changes, your options are limited. As independent agents, we work for you — not one carrier — and shop your risk across 75+ companies, including specialty markets for medical practices and other hard-to-place risks. When a renewal spikes or a carrier tightens its guidelines, we already have somewhere else to take you.
Can you help if my policy was non-renewed or cancelled?
Yes — it’s one of the most common reasons people call us. Carriers have tightened guidelines around roof age, claims history, and location on the personal side, and around procedures and claims experience on the practice side. Because we have access to specialized Excess & Surplus (E&S) markets in addition to standard carriers, we can often place coverage — for homes, businesses, and medical practices — that standard companies decline.
Why did my Texas insurance premium go up even though I didn’t file a claim?
Texas pricing is set at the market level, not just at your address. Repeated hail, wind, and freeze losses across the state — with North Texas hail among the biggest drivers — push up claim payouts, reinsurance costs, and rebuilding costs, and carriers spread those increases across everyone. Rates climbed sharply from 2022 through 2024 (roughly 20% a year at the peak) before slowing in 2025 and 2026. If your renewal jumped, the fix is usually to re-shop the full market — which is exactly what we do for you.
How does my wind and hail deductible work in North Texas?
In Texas, wind and hail deductibles are usually a percentage of your home’s insured value, not a flat dollar amount — commonly 1% to 5%, with 2% now the norm across hail-prone North Texas. On a home insured for $400,000, a 2% wind/hail deductible means you cover the first $8,000 of a storm claim before coverage responds. It catches people off guard, so we walk through your deductible structure before you buy — not after a storm.
My roof is getting older — how does that affect my coverage and rate?
Roof age is one of the biggest factors in Texas underwriting today. As a roof passes roughly 15 years, some carriers raise your rate, require an inspection, shift roof coverage from replacement cost (RCV) to actual cash value (ACV), or decline to renew — and an ACV downgrade can turn a large storm loss into a much smaller payout. A newer or impact-resistant (Class 4) roof can improve both your eligibility and your options, and we’ll help you document it so any available discount actually gets applied.
What new insurance rights do Texas policyholders have in 2026?
A package of consumer protections took effect January 1, 2026. Carriers must now give you a written reason when a policy is declined, cancelled, or non-renewed; every personal auto and home policy must include an appraisal process so you can dispute the dollar amount of a claim without going straight to court; and insurers must periodically review your credit and adjust your rate when it improves. We help clients use these rights — especially the appraisal option on underpaid storm claims.
Do you charge any fees to quote my insurance?
No. Quoting and comparing your options is 100% free, with no agency or broker fee. We’re paid by the carrier only if you choose to place your policy through us — so there’s no cost to see what the market offers.
How quickly can my coverage start?
In most cases we can bind coverage the same day. More complex commercial and medical accounts can take 24–48 hours, but we prioritize time-sensitive needs — real-estate closings, certificates of insurance (COIs) for hospital privileges or office leases, and new-provider start dates.
Can I switch insurance companies in the middle of my policy?
Yes — you don’t have to wait for your renewal date. You can change carriers any time, and we handle the paperwork to start the new policy and cancel the old one, which often triggers a pro-rated refund of your unused premium.
Do I have to move all my policies to you to get a better rate?
No. You’re never required to move everything. That said, bundling — most often auto plus home for families, or property plus liability for a practice — is usually the most effective way to lower your total premium and simplify billing, so it’s worth quoting even if you keep a policy or two where they are.
What happens if I have a claim?
You call us, and we act as your advocate. Instead of navigating a 1-800 line alone, we help you decide whether filing makes sense, guide you through the process, and — under the 2026 appraisal rules — help you push back if a settlement offer comes in low.
Are you locally owned and operated?
Yes. The Agent’s Office® is independently owned and operated by George and Mayra Azide. We live and work here, our kids go to school here, and we understand the specific risks — hail, wind, and North Texas traffic — that our neighbors and local practice owners deal with every year.
