This position is open to candidates based in the state of TX.
Start Date: Flexible, with the next available training session starting Monday, November 4th, 2024.
Responsibilities
As a Property and Casualty Insurance Agent at The Agent’s Office®, you will:
- Advise Clients: Help clients understand their insurance needs and provide tailored property and casualty insurance solutions to protect their assets and future.
- Quoting and Prospecting: Proactively seek out new business opportunities by quoting potential clients, leveraging your network, cold calling, and using available tools to identify prospects.
- Generate Referrals: Cultivate referral relationships with existing clients and local businesses by consistently delivering value, building trust, and offering incentives to encourage new business.
- Marketing and Branding Yourself: Actively promote yourself as a trusted insurance professional by leveraging social media, community involvement, and personal branding techniques to establish a strong presence in the market.
- Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting, generating referrals, and utilizing your personal network, all while maintaining a focus on closing new business.
- Stay Informed: Stay current with industry trends, product updates, and state regulations to ensure you are providing clients with accurate and up-to-date information on insurance products and services.
- Process Applications: Accurately review, process, and submit insurance applications to ensure seamless and efficient coverage for clients.
- Remarkable Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding customer service by clearly explaining coverage options, guiding clients through the insurance process, and ensuring they understand the value of their policies.
- Networking: Attend industry events, engage in community outreach, and participate in networking opportunities to build connections and grow your client base.
- Follow Compliance: Ensure all sales and service activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Training Details
- Training is extensive and mandatory, with weekly meetings on Monday and Wednesday at 8:30a and daily training sessions at 4:00pm that cover industry knowledge, sales techniques, lead generation and client management. The length of trainings and meetings varies but is designed to ensure your success as a property & casualty agent. Meetings and trainings will be conducted via Zoom and participants are required to have cameras on during this time.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- State Insurance License: Must have a valid Property and Casualty Insurance License in the state of Texas or be willing to obtain one.
- Sales Experience: 2+ years previous experience in sales, insurance, or customer service is required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, both verbally and in writing.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A genuine passion for helping clients protect their assets and providing exceptional service.
- Self-Motivation and Independence: Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and meet sales goals.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using computer applications, CRM software, and digital tools for sales and client management.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to process applications accurately and pay attention to details.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle challenges with a positive attitude.
