Responsibilities

As a Property and Casualty Insurance Agent at The Agent’s Office®, you will:

  • Advise Clients: Help individuals and families make confident insurance decisions by offering tailored property and casualty coverage options that protect what matters most.
  • Quote & Prospect: Proactively identify new opportunities through quoting, cold calling, networking, and follow-ups — using tools that work for you.
  • Generate Referrals: Build long-term referral relationships with clients and local businesses by delivering value, building trust, and staying top of mind.
  • Market and Brand Yourself: Leverage social media, personal branding, and local involvement to position yourself as a go-to insurance professional in your area.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Consistently meet or exceed targets by mastering prospecting, generating referrals, and closing new business.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends, product updates, and compliance changes so you can guide clients with clarity and confidence.
  • Process Applications: Submit clean, accurate insurance applications that move efficiently through the pipeline.
  • Deliver an Outstanding Client Experience: Walk clients through the process, explain coverage options clearly, and ensure they feel educated and empowered.
  • Network and Expand Your Reach: Attend events, build community connections, and continuously grow your presence and client base.
  • Follow Compliance: Protect your business and clients by always operating with professionalism and in accordance with all regulations and company policies.

Training Details

We don’t just throw you in—we train you to win.
We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and weekly meetings designed to sharpen your sales skills, increase your product knowledge, and position you for long-term success.

  • Training is comprehensive and required, with weekly meetings held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., and daily training sessions at 4:00 p.m.
  • Topics include sales strategy, industry insights, lead generation, technology tools, and client relationship mastery.
  • All sessions are hosted via Zoom, and participants are expected to attend with their cameras on to promote engagement and accountability.

This training environment is fast-paced, supportive, and built for agents who are serious about growing their business and income.


Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is coachable, self-driven, and passionate about helping people.

Qualifications:

  • Driven and Independent: Comfortable working remotely, managing your schedule, and meeting sales goals.
  • People-Oriented: A natural problem solver with a genuine desire to help clients protect their future.
  • Excellent Communicator: Clear, confident, and professional in both written and verbal communication.
  • Licensed in Texas: Must hold or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License in Texas.
  • Sales Experience: 2+ years in sales, customer service, or insurance is preferred.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM platforms, quoting tools, and digital communication.
  • Detail-Oriented: Able to accurately process applications and handle documentation with care.
  • Resilient and Adaptable: Embraces challenges with a growth mindset and a positive attitude.
